About

Marie Howard, MS, RDN is a retired nutritionist living in North Carolina.  After four years as an officer in the US Army, most of her career was spent in business to business sales and marketing in the medical nutritional industry.  A career highlight includes more than two years living in Switzerland and traveling the globe as a world-wide marketing manager for Nestlé Clinical Nutrition.  Shortly after opening her nutrition consulting business in 2011, Marie became a member of the Rotary Club of Oxford, NC.  That ignited a passion for Rotary as a vehicle to make a difference in her community and beyond.  Since joining Rotary in 2011, Marie has served as Club Treasurer, three terms as Club President for two different clubs, Assistant Governor, District Club Extension Chair, and Rotary Leadership Institute Faculty.  She has chartered a new club, the Rotary Club of the Kerr Tar Region, and has been selected to serve as District Governor for Rotary International District 7710 for the 2019-2020 Rotary year.

The views expressed in this blog are Marie’s alone and are not to be considered to be official policies or positions of Rotary International, District 7710, or the Rotary Club of Clayton, NC.
